I'm running Sybase SQL server 11.0.3.3 under Windows NT 4.0 service pack 5
in a
Compaq server with 512 MB RAM. I set the total memory of SQL server to
185.000 pages, which means aproximately 370 MB.
When I restart the NT server, I can notice that, at the first moment, the
SQL server process takes all the memory that is
reserved to it; after the weekend, for example, when there is no activity
at this server, the NT task manager shows that the
SQL server takes only 135 MB of RAM. On Monday, when the use of the server
increase, the amount of memory that Sybase
uses increases a little (about 30 MB), but it doesn't reaches the original
370 MB. What can be wrong?

Thanks in advance.
