Hi all, I would like to know if you can help me with this issue. I am
migrating from PB4 to PB7, SQLServer 6.5 to 7 and instead of native driver
i will use ODBC. With PB and SQLServer everything is fine. My problem is
ODBC. I could connect using ODBC,but when I use Stored Procedures into
PowerScript and it has OutPut values I am getting errors. The first error I
got is 22005 Invalid Character . . . .that I fixed with "StripParmNames",
then I begin with a 37000 Syntax error near OUTPUT. I have tried with
OUTPUT, OUT, 'extra' fetch, changing DBPARMs, I have used a lot of ideas
with the only purpose of run it.I couldn't. Is there a Difference now with
ODBC for using Stored Procedures ? How can I get OUTPUT VALUES using ODBC?
Is OUTPUT var. a problem for ODBC?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Josue Hdz.

I believe you'll need to declare the procedure as an RPC (remote procedure call). This
involves declaring the procedure as a local external function on the connection object.
