As per the development of appeon & ppb is concerned, I see a lot of
similarities wrt release components as well as future additions. (PFC to
start with).
I know they are different products [one in hongkong and other in CA]....but
it would be nice to see both share / release as one development effort.

These are quite different markets.
PPB is targeting the PocketPC "occasionally connected" database
market. The PocketPC application would need a lot of UI changes
because the UI is so different.
Appeon is a different approach for distributing a PB application
without making any changes to it at all.

Also - Pocket PowerBuilder is developed in Concord Mass, just
like the original PowerBuilder (I even have one of the original
original original PowerBuilder 1.0 guys on the team!)

Reed Shilts

Thanks for clarifications.
Also, what I see is that in future, a time will come where an existing PB
applications would be 'converted'ported' to PPB [or Appeon] with minimal
changes.
ie. PPB code being able to be 'generated' from current PB code.
Are there any chances for it? When I see future enhancement list of PPB and
Appeon side-by-side I see lot of common things, hence the thought.
thanks
Mell
