The following syntax to open a window of a particular type seems to cause
the emulator to generate a "error".

Sorry about that. Here's the full post.

The following syntax to open a window of a particular type seems to cause
the emulator to generate an "Unknown object type: w_splash_pocketshop"
error. Not sure about the device, I havent been able to get there yet
thinking it may have something to do with this.

Build 106

w_splash_master lw_splash
Open(lw_splash, this.is_splash_app)

This does work:
Open(w_splash_pocketshop)
