I am trying to convert an interbase and Paradox database to Sybase...
Does anyone know how to do this? Are there any tools on doing this?

Regards
Alistair

Use remote server/proxy tables or the sa_migrate system procedure where these features are available. Without knowing the specific version you are working with, it is difficult to give a solid answer.

An easy way to take a first cut at it is to create a new SQL Anywhere
database, create an ODBC connection to it, give the connection a BDE alias,
then use Paradox (or Delphi's Database Desktop) to copy each table from the
Paradox or Interbase database to the SQL Anywhere database.

Another option is to use PowerDesigner, included in SQL Anywhere Studio, to
reverse engineer the old database, then recreate the data model in SQL
Anywhere.
