Hi,
I'm trying Pocket PB evaluation version in my system... i
developed a sample application and tried to deploy it in my
PDA Barcode Scanner ( PSC, Falcon model ). The PDA is with
Windows CE, Version 3.0 ( Formal 9) ... when i deploy the
exe file manually it is showing like " 'mysample' is not a
valid Windows CE Application."
and if u try Win CE Setup from the Program Files, it will
display a message like "Sybase Pocket PB 1.0 does not
support the connected device type. Application Manager will
make the application available for installation when a
supported device type is connected"

Any solution for it ?

Thanks in Advance
Danny

Looking at the model 4210 at their web site I see
this is:
a) MIPS processor
b) Windows CE 3.0

We don't support the MIPS processor since that is
currently falling out of favor with manufacturers.
They don't say "Pocket PC" but "Windows CE", which
PocketPC is a specialization of.

The end result - yup - we don't work on this box.
Sorry.....

P.S.
Look on the bright side...
a) the PPB eval was free (except for your time)
b) the WinCE setup process knew the executables
were incompatible. Try that with any desktop
system and it would either GPF of reformat
your disk...

Hi,

PocketPB supports PocketPC 2002 O/S (formerly WinCE) and the apps should also
run on the 2003 OS.
