Carlos,

A lot more information is needed to help you.

1. What version of SQL Anywhere are you using and what EBF level

2. What are the hardware specifications that the database is running on.

3. What type of network and the speed

4. How many clients are hitting the database at the same time.

5. Is the database normalized?

6. Are indexes being used?

These are just a few things.. Your question is just too vague to help at
this point without more information.

In addition to what Michael said, if your version of ASA supports it
you can use "request level logging" to find out which operations are
taking a long time. See the Help.
