Hi, how can PPB runtime files be deployed to Microsoft
Pocket
PC 2002 emulator? In the PPB readme file I read the
instructions "copy the correct CAB file from the Pocket
PowerBuilder WinCE subdirectory to the Windows directory for
the emulator, then run the CAB file from the emulator. For
the
Pocket PC 2002 emulator, copy and run the Pocket
PowerBuilder.x86.cab file". But where is the Windows
directory
for the Pocket PC 2002 emulator? I found the Windows
directory
for both MS Handheld PC and MS Palm Size PC, but there isn't
one
for Pocket PC 2002.

Thank you very much.

Shimin Cai

Shimin,

The Pocket PC 2002 Emulator file system is not mapped to the file system on
your desktop. You have to use the CE File View application to connect to
the emulator and import the file that way. The executable that you start is
"C:\Program Files\Windows CE Tools\Common\Platman\bin\cefilevw.exe"
