If I try to establish a remote connection to the database on the network and its not successful it does prompts me an ODBC box but dramatically slows down the system and renders it pretty much useless; the device completely stops responding to any click and the only option left is to reset the device.

I have tried it on couple of PPC devices one with OS 2002 and another with OS 2003. Could this be rectified so that the user atleast can bypass that odbc dialog and continue using the programs.

Thanks!!

Try adding this to your DBParm:

ConnectOption='SQL_DRIVER_CONNECT,SQL_DRIVER_NOPROMPT'

Thanks for your response Roland; but adding those parameters didn't help.
