Hi - I have a customer who is using the latest version of Sybase SQL Any
where. I wish to set up a remote backup (thru DSL) to my server farm. I
understand that the DB has to be unloaded? before this date can be compiled
and transmitted. Doses sybase have sometype of script to shutdown the DB for
the period necessary to backup. Thank you for any help

You can run the dbbackup.exe utility to make a separate backup file
copies of the .DB and .LOG files while the server is running. The SQL
Anywhere Help file contains a lot of material on this subject.
