When I connect to Sybase Central (6.0.3) I don`t get the option Remote
Server. Is it possible that the availability of this option is also ( like
services and utilities on scsany6.dll) depending on plug ins or something
like that.
I did a default network server installation.
Who can help me?

Definitely it depends upon BOTH server version and the plug-in version.

IFfff I remember correctly ....
Support for remote servers were not introduced until 6.0.2 (could have been
6.0.1)
and initially were not supported in the plug-in. It was basically a public
beta
offering at that point so "create remote server" and "create existing"
support was
sufficient.

I cannot remember when the Sybase Central plug-in caught up with this but I
do
know that 6.0.4.3799 one shows that feature. You should probably check out
the 6.0.4 maintenance upgrade and ebfs.
