I am using MAS version 5.1.1432.0. I want to schedule a
package to copy files from the package on a specific date.

If I go into the properties of the package and edit the
schedule what am I supposed to enter to get a package to run
a say 11am on the 27th August 2003 ?

If I enter the date 08/27/03 as the manual says and tab to
the time field the date box automatically changes to
27/08/03 (I assume because we are in Australia and we like
the date in the format DD/MM/YY).

If I then select the frequency to be "once and delete
package" and send the package the package is executed
immediately on the client every though the schedule is in
the future.
If I select the frequency to be "Disabled" the package is
never executed.

Should I be changing the regional settings of Windows 2000
back to US or am I doing something else wrong ?

I am fairly sure that this scheduling worked on version 4.6,
we recently upgraded to 5.1.

Thanks
Phil

Is there any way of finding out what is scheduled on the
agent PC or even in the MAS console on the command server ?

Also to my previous question when I use 'Deploy Wizard' /
'Schedule tasks' to send a package to execute at a specific
time the package always seems to exectute on the agent
immediately, but when I edit the properties og the package
and change the schedule and then send the package the
package never seems to execute on the agent.

Thanks

Your original way is correct. Manage Anywhere itself is constructed very
much in a US-centric manner so if the package does not execute the way in
the original date formate you're probably going to look at changing date
order settings. I would have expected the date format not affecting whether
the package getting executed at a certain time though and if that's what you
saw, then I'd suspect a bug or limitation that requires change in coding of
the product. For now, probably put it back into a US date format makes
sense.

I have changed both the agent and primary command server back to US time,
rebooted and rebuild the database etc without any luck, could you please
ascertain if this is a bug in the new version so I can stop putting in time
on the new version and begin using the older version again.

thanks
Phil

At this point you should submit the case, including the sample package and
steps to reproduce the behaviour to Technical Support so that we can
investigate it.
