I have a ppb 1.0 app that uses ASA v. 8.02 that came on the
CD.
If an update of a datawindow causes any type of error to be
returned back from the database, the application will crash
within a couple of subsequent actions in both the
development environment and the Pocket PC. Although they
behave a bit differently. In the dev environment, the whole
pocket powerbuilder app crashes out. On the Pocket PC,
subsequent calls to the database hang, which makes me
believe there is something about the db generating the error
message that causes it to hang on. I've tried having
autocommit both on and off an doing explicit commits and
rollbacks, but to no avail. ASA is just seeming to hang on
to something. Any clues on what I might do? Any dbparms
that I could set. I'm not specifying any parms except the
Autocommit.

If you have a nice reproducable example of this, first try with the
current 8.0.2 EBF for CE (see my signature).
If the problem persists, please submit a case via CaseXpress OR
technical support.
