Nadja we are using Symbol SPS3000 barcode scanner for IPAQ; it works like a
charm also goto CodeXchange to get sample applications for initializing
barcode scanner in your application.

We are using iPAQ 5555 with PPC 2003; but the scanner product I mentioned is
compatible with most of iPAQ models.

Sorry I didn't reply sooner. I used the CF slot on my device. When I scan
in a barcode, the result goes into the active textfield.
