I'm getting this error out of a powerbuilder 8.02 application. This is
occuring on a newly built win nt sp6 box with odbc...

How do I fill out the odbc datasource for Adaptive Server Anywanere 8.0 so
that I do not get this message.

Urgent!!!

There is not enough information in this post to help.

What version and build of ASA are you using?
What engine is it (personal, network, runtime)?
What are the startup parms?
What is the version of MDAC? Go to ODBC Administrator About box to get the
ODBC version which can be used to determine MDAC.
What have you defined in the ODBC configuration?
What specifically is the application doing when the error occurs?
What is the output of a request level log for SQL Statements i.e., -zr
SQL -zo <filename>

Chris,

My client is rebuilding the machine. Other machines with the exact
configuration function fine. I will post the results. Thanks for
replying...

A re-build has eliminated the problem. Would be nice to know what happened,
but not necessary. Thanks all.
