I have a problem connecting to the database in runtime on my desktop pc.
Connection on my pocket pc is working fine using the DSN file.
I use the same file on my desktop (directories and engine are adjusted) and
i'm not able to connect to the database.
The dsn file on my desktop pc is in ANSI code and located in application dir
and root .... Do I have to use a different syntax on my desktop to connect
to a database?

Thanks

On the desktop it uses the ODBC profile name.

For example, I have 'ASA 8.0 Sample' as an ODBC profile on the desktop and
'ASA 8.0 Sample.dsn' file on the device.
In both cases you can use DSN=ASA 8.0 Sample in your connectstring dbparm.
