I have an application deployed to an IPAQ 5555. I am using PocketPB 1.0.1.

Either of the following two lines work within the PocketPB IDE when
running/debugging the application. However, the first line returns an empty
string on the PDA (confirmed with MessageBox), and the second line actually
terminates the application.

is_sqlorig = ids_taskswithpreds.Describe("DataWindow.Table.Select")

- or -

is_sqlorig = ids_taskswithpreds.Object.Datawindow.Table.Select

Can anyone else confirm this? If confirmed, can the fix make it into an EBF
soon...it is integral to my application with no known workaround. I think
additional Datawindow object properties may not work on the PDA, also...but
I haven't had an opportunity to ferret all of them out. Others that I use
include the following:

ids_taskswithpreds.Object.DataWindow.Column.Count
ids_taskswithpreds.Object.pm_xref_seq.Update = "No"
ids_taskswithpreds.Object.DataWindow.Table.UpdateTable =
"myowner.mytable"

Thanks for the help. We are trying to complete two prototype applications
in time for an end-of-October Trade Show,

Brian

I helped Brian resolve this one off-line. In the build process a PBR was necessary since
the DataWindow object that was being used in the DataStore was not directly referenced. The
build process was creating an EXE with no PBD equivalent so the DataWindow object was not
automatically included in the EXE.
