Hi,

Edit masks do not seem to work correctly in pocketpb on the
device.

If i set an edit mask for a numeric field and leave the
field, a string seems to get inserted into the field instead
of a number displayed in the edit mask.

Also, the edit mask doesn't seem to limit what the user can
enter. If i set an edit mask of 0.00 to limit the user to 1
digit and 2 decimal places, the user can enter whatever
number they like in the field. (ex: 238.92749)

Is there a work around or fix for this issue?

We would like to use editmasks to prevent users from
entering bad data.

Thanks,

Karen

Karen;

Note: There is still an issue with EM's where if you set the background
colour dynamically at run time. You sometimes get a numeric value of Zeros
when the control has focus. When the control looses focus, the data displays
OK. The work around is to bypass the background colour setting if the column
has a EM assigned.

Hopefully, this will be addressed in PPB 1.5

regards ... Chris
