We did DB upgrade from SQL Anywhere 5.5.04 to ASA 8 and in
our application we are getting the following error message :

"Option value out of range. Update operation attempted on
read only cursor"

Can any one tell how to overcome this problem.

Thanks...

A few more specifics would be helpful:

- What statement are you executing when you get this error?
- What programming interface are you using?
- What language are you using?
- What version and build of v8 are you running?
