Hi,
I use VFP8 to create remote views from data created in Medisoft (billing
software) . One of the tables has over 400,000 records and when I open the
view in VFP8 it usually takes around 4 minutes . Is this normal ?
Can I do it different ? . Any settings that I could change to make it
faster ?

Our server is w2000 PIII 1.4 512 and my ws is P4 2.4 1G

Thanks

Hi Fernando,

It seems that the whole table is read. How is your view defined?

Hi Alex,
It is reading the whole table.. Sometimes I need to read it all. Sometimes
just some records.. But it would still mean about a 1 min/100,000 records .
Is this about what it should be ?
I'd like to konw to see if there is something else i could do to improve the
speed ..

thanks
