Here is our problem.

The performance is very slow when the database server is in one subnet, and
the client is in an other subnet. The two subnets are connected via a CISCO

When the Server and client are on the same subnet (no routing) performance
is ok.

Client conf. : Windows XP - 100 mbit Lan.

Server : Windows 2000, Advantage database server 5.7.

The two subnets have been tested, at the same time. The problem is not
network traffic.

Do you have any ideas, on what is wrong ?
