PB 8.0.4 build 10501

I set a gif to transparent with Photoshop 5 and when I use it in a picture object... Unfortunally the result isn't perfect as you can see in the attachment.

Thanks!

great for that workaround.. I didn't know it...

But the problem is still there cause I use this picture as a
RowFocusIndicator... any other workaround to use a dw as a focus indicator
;)

Bit of a late reply, but hopefully some useful information.

Unfortunately Powerbuilder still can't do transparent pictures properly in
datawindows, what we do is use a font (for example WingDings) to display
pictures on a datawindow, this way the background can transparent.

The rowfocusindicator isn't IN the datawindow, it's on the window (according
to help - see above). So my problem remains the same...

With the workaround that Philip gave to me we can use real transparent gif
IN the datawindows with Pb8+. It works fine.

Help:
Pictures as row focus indicators To use a picture as the row focus
indicator, set up the Picture control in the Window painter. Place the
Picture control in the window that contains the DataWindow control and then
reference it in the SetRowFocusIndicator function. You can hide the picture
or place it under the DataWindow control so the user doesn't see the control
itself.
