Q 1. I am trying to figure out if I can use ManageAnywhere
for installing the new application on remote devices, Palm
Devices.
But on reading the document, I conclude that the initial
installation of the application has to be done manually (if
there is no manage anywhere agents on the remote devices).
but if we have manage anywhere agents on palm devices, will
the installation be possible?.

Q2. How about the subsequent upgrades. I guess it should not
be a problem.

Q3. I am experimenting with the Manage anywhere version
9.0.When i install it with Apache option(the apache
webserver is running on my machine),The Command server
windows shows that the connection to command server has been
established.I am making connection to ASA server using
system dsn. But the Web server status is very unclear as no
button (green, yellow or red) is on. What does this mean?

Q4. Is there any good tutorial that explains step by step
process?.

Yes, once the Agent is on the device you can use it to install applications.
Alternately, if you have the PC Agent installed on a machine where the Palm
device is cradled, you can use the PC Agent to place the files in the
correct location so they are Hotsynced to the device on the next
synchronization.

This should not be a problem. The product can be used to upgrade
applications as well as upgrade the Agent component.

For Apache, make sure that you are using the latest version of Apache and
Sun ONE ASP. I would not be alarmed if the Web Server status light is not
functioning as it is only implemented when using a Windows server OS and
IIS.

- Have you followed the Apache installation steps that are provided during
the installation of MAS?
