Hi,

I have a Manage Anywhere Command Server and a Manage
Anywhere Studio Agent Running on a Windows 2000 PC which is
currently being used to develop a database application for a
Windows CE based PocketPC device. I have the PocketPC
device connected to the PC via its cradle, and have
successfully established a partnership between the PC and
the Device in ActiveSync, but I still can't see the device
in the Manage Anywhere console. Any ideas?

The versions of the software I am running are as follows:

Manage Anywhere 5.0.1380.0
Windows 2000 Service Pack 4
ActiveSync 3.7.1

Thanks for any help,

Chris Wood

Hi Chris,
Check that the inventory has been re-run on the PC since you set up the
Pocket PC device. Remember that by default the inventory is only scheduled
to run once a week. The Pocket PC device will get picked up the next time
the inventory is collected and reported back to the Command Server.
