I'm using ASA 8.0.2.4339
OS : windows 2000 (english)

I want to setup a replication server.
I followed the documents from sybase site but in their sample they used the
ISQL (which is not the same in ASA), I tried so many things to figured it
out but still don't know how without using that ISQL.

Do you guys here have a sample to follow?

(i don't have the adaptive server enterprise)

Thanks in adv.

2 things that may help Digger

1 - The ASA 8 help files have the pertinent information.

2 - For Replication Server expertise you might want to
try one of the newsgroups explicitly set up for that
like

sybase.public.rep-server

What version of Rep Server are you working with?
Rep Server is installed on top of an ASE server. Do you have your ASE server
installed?
- keep in mind that while Rep Server can be used to replicate data between 2
ASA databases it still requires an ASE as part of the Rep Server setup to
hold the Rep Server System Database

No, as I said yesterday, Rep Server itself requires an ASE server to host
the Rep Server System Database (RSSD). The replication can be from ASA to
ASA.

If you are looking for a pure ASA solution, have you considered either SQL
Remote or MobiLink?
