Hi All,

I'm attaching a sample application using a rpc call to a Oracle procedure.

I'm working on a application to be deployed using Appeon, but my customer is
using a transaction object customized with local external functions (rpcs)
mapped to stored procedures on Oracle.

You may run this application and get the results under PowerBuilder.

When I run this application under Appeon, the results is not the same. The
raiseerror that I generate on proc is not sent to browser.

Any help will be nice.

PS: The procedure should returns a -20999 error into a message box (alert).

The EAS and Oracle servers are up and running. If you wish you can try run
this application pointing directly to my servers.

Regards,

Miguel Figueiredo (mfigueir@sybase.com)

I am not using appeon but plan to use it in development mode. It is still pricy
for the majority of my users. Hopefully 1% of them will be willing to pay the
25k price.

If you are using version 2.7 (support NVO where we can use external function
calls of the server PC), (possibly) you can use an NVO, with a datastore (a
datastore points to the stored procedure)instance variable declared within the
NVO? By reading the manual it also says all messages will be in the status bar
of the browser (I think this will cause a problem if I turn of the status bar of
the browser), so the error you raise may not be displayed.
