Hello

I am using Windows 2000 SP4 Server. I was using Sybase ASA 7.0.3 and MS SQL
Server 2000 in the same server. It works fine so far until then ....

I then performed the following tasks:

(1) Uninstall the Sybase ASA 7.0.3
(2) Install the Sybase ASA 8.0.2

The Sybase ASA 8.0.2 works fine... but something since then goes wrong for
MS SQL Server 2000

When I try to open the MS SQL Server 2000 utilities or using any application
that relies on ODBC for connecting with SQL Server 2000, it prompts an error
message "Driver's SQLAllocHandle on SQL_HANDLE_ENV failed".

Do you have the same experience with me when you have to install Sybase ASA
8 and MS SQL Server 2000 in the same PC? Any solutions will be appreciated.

Thanks and regards
Derek

I have seen this when uninstalling older versions, and re-installing the
MDAC from Microsoft solved the problem. The latest MDAC should be here
(all on one line):

Cheers,

Graham
