This is killing me! We have several machines connected to our Sybase 11.0.2
server running ipx/spx:
I have tried both the straight sql.ini configuration and dsedit.
The SQL.INI file looks like this:
I can connect to other servers using TCP, but not on either of my WIN98
When I try to connect to my Saturn server, I get the message:
THE LOCAL MACHINE HAS NOT SET UP A DRIVER FOR THE PROTOCOL SPX
When I try it from another machine, I get a similar message with error 157.
I verified that the IPX/SPX protocol has been loaded.
I am sure that it is something simple as we have someone done this before on
other machines, but I can't figure it out!
