Hello Everyone;

If I compress a database with dbshink then bring it online with
a write file, and at a later date I decide to run dbexpand against the
database, will the changes that were made while it was running in compressed
mode with a write file be re-integrated into the expanded database? If not,
how would I re-integrate the data? I could not find enough information in
the online help related to this topic, forgive if it's an "obvious"
question.

No they won't.

Translate the 'write log' file (usually the one with extension .wlg)
with dbtran.exe and then use dbisql to connec to the expanded
database and READ the ___.SQL file generated by dbtran.
