How do I replicate a dbf table and cdx index? I have created a database
adapter with ADS_CDX as the database type but I cannot accessthe tables.
The data source is pointing to the directory that holds the dbf files

Provider=Advantage.OLEDB.1;Password="";User ID=adssys;Data
Source=h:\rel470;Mode=Read;Persist Security Info=True;Advantage Table
Type=ADS_CDX

I have had some success replicating a single table within a .add file but
most of our data is still in .dbf format.

Thanks

Your connection string looks correct. Are you receiving an error message?
Does the connection "test" work in the database adapter?

If you have a data dictionray, you must point your the Data Source to
this ADD file.
If you're using data dictionary, the Table Tye is ignored (since this
information is stored in the ADD).
If you don't use a data dictionary, user id and assword is not needed.

This issue was resolved offline by changing settings --unsure of exact
cause. CDX will be replicated using file transfer on initial sync or by
using Advantage Data Dictionary.
