Is there a way to determine if a file exists from within a
stored procedure?

Thanks.

I don't believe there is any way to do this directly from SQL. Two
options I can think of right now are:

- call a function in an external library (a DLL)
- use Java In The Database and call a Java method

In the ASA 9.0 online docs, see "external calls" and "external
functions" in the index.

Hope this helps,
