Are there any tutorials, quick start guides or demonstrations with detailed
instructions available? I am new to this product and am looking for a fast
track.

Try http://developer.avantgo.com/. Click on Application Developer, Quick
Start. The Developer Guide is a good place to start, it has complete
documented examples of both Dynamic HTML and XML data applications.
