I have a Powerbuilder 8.0 app compiled into an .exe I am
trying to run on a Small Biz server for windows 2000. The
client machines are using XP and I can't get the app to run
from the server. Any Ideas on what might be the problem. The
database is SQL Anywhere 7.0. When the client clicks on the
.exe file the error says it can not read the file.

Thanks in advanced for nay help.

Hi,

The Appeon newsgroup is monitored by Sybase and Appeon engineering staff who
are very knowledgeable about Appeon issues. However, your question is
purely PowerBuilder-related and is therefore best answered by the staff and
users of the PowerBuilder newsgroup: sybase.public.powerbuilder.general.
I am sure if you re-post your question to that newsgroup you will receive
the help you need.

Thanks,
Julie Jiang

I agree with Julie, this should probably be posted in the
PowerBuilder.general section. However, have you tried setting the .exe
property to W2K compatibility mode? That might be an issue.
