We have upgraded to ASA 7.00.04 build 3498 on both our
NetWare 6 server and our win 2k pro workstations with
servicepack 4 and we intermittently receive the following
error message:

[Sybase][ODBC Driver][Adaptive Server Anywhere]Unable to
connect to database server: Connection error: Found server
but communication error occurred.

Can anyone help please.

Thanks,
Colin Graham

What version were you on before?
7.0.0 is an archived version of the software. Have you tested with 7.0.4
which is the current 7.x release?

What network protocol are you using? IPX? SPX? TCPIP?

Have checked the health of the network in general? Are there any problems
outside of the ASA connections?
