OS: Windows 2000 Professional

I downloaded and installed the developer edition of M-business server today
(Version 5.3?)
When I click on the link for "Avantgo M-Business Server", I get a memory
read error.
Seems that SysFader is the program that fails.

Any ideas?
I have not installed the EBF for the developer edition.

Also, one other quick question. Is M-Business Server not compatible with SQL
Anywhere 9? The install asked me to uninstall SQL Anywhere first.

It sounds like your system is infected with *!@#* SPY-WARE *!@#*

Apparently SysFader is causing many IE users quite a bit of grief.
You will need to clean that off you system and then see what happens.

There was a restriction in the 5.3 release, that the installer would refuse
to install if an installation of ASA 8 already existed. I don't believe
ASA 9 is recognized so M-Business server should install with only
the short of a dual install concerns (utilities share the same names).
If you have any problems with that, you can always install ASA
(8 or 9) afterwards.

But to answer the 'strictly compatibility' question =>> yes. M-Business
Server installs a copy of ASA 8.0.2 Authenticated for its own use.

This will change in the next release.
