Hi:

I am using ASA 7.0.4.3498

I went to DOS prompt and typed dblocate -o "c:\temp\dblook.log"
This is what I found in the log file

Adaptive Server Anywhere Server Enumeration Utility Version 7.0.4.3498

Server Name Address
----------- -------
wfdbserver_ingenuity ingenuity.shi.com:2638

1 server found

Now I deleted the dblook.log file & now I used the -q option
dblocate -q -o "c:\temp\dblook.log"
There was a log file created but contained nothing.

Is there I am missing something ?

Thanks:
DAN

No, that's expected behaviour. The -q option tells dblocate to suppress
all output, including output to a file. You can use "dblocate >
C:\temp\dblook.log" if you don't want to display the output.
