Hi,

I'm trying to convert our application to Appeon. We use the error object,
not supported. Can someone tell me how I can solve this?

Kind Regards,
SB

Hi,

Appeon engineer has two suggestions for you to workaround the Error object:

Solution #1: Encapsulate and deploy the Error objects as NVO to Appeon Server. The SystemError event will be triggered at the server side instead of the client side.

Solution #2: Instead of using the Error object, you can define your own version of scripts and logics and message boxes that will show when some error occurs, for simulating the behavior of the SystemError event.
The SystemError event usually will be triggered by the following serious errors during execution:
                        1. Divide by zero
                        2. Null object reference
                        3. DataWindow execution errors
                        4. OLE object execution errors
                        5. CORBA system exceptions
