I am sure that this question has been asked a thousand time, however, after
reading many of the messages, I never got an answer that leans me 100% one
way or the other...

I understand that the variable of type window holds the reference to the
window object. What I am looking for is a way to store "the pointer to the
reference variable" so that I can switch between window objects without
having to know the name of the window variable. Hope that makes sense. For
example,

-------------------
Window w_name
Window w_open_window[]
whatevertypeIneed pointer_to_window

Open(w_name)
w_open_window[1] = w_name

//So that I can open another instance of w_name. I know that I can use an
array, however, it won't work with what I am trying to accomplish
w_name.Handle = 0

Open(w_name)
w_open_window[2] = w_name

pointer_to_window = pointer to w_name reference variable
-------------------

Then, I can switch between reference w_open_window[1] and w_open_window[2]
(for w_name) by using logic like

pointer_to_window.reference = w_open_window[#]

(Just so you know, using "w_name= w_open_window[#] " will not do since I do
not know the actual name of the instance for w_name at the time of
assignment.)

Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

Julie
