We have an application which involves several compoents.
1. A COM dll
2. IIS environment creating this COM
3. ASA 22.214.171.12498 as database
We were running with issues that even on a dual processor / 2G Mem the
CPU was fully occupied 100%. Abviously the app performance came in question.
We opened up a case with Microsoft and ran some test using their tool.
They have pointed few places where most of consumption of the CPU occured.
Among them dbodbc7.dll is in the list. They claim that it call SleepEx(0,
TRUE) in a loop, which causes the CPU consumption.
Please shed some light on this.
