Is there a way to create package that can configure a
wireless access point?

Packages can control what happens on a PC (eg. files, registries, and what
programs to run).

Since you're talking about a wireless access point, these settings are
usually stored on Hardware.

What your package can do is to:

Start the wireless access point configuration program. From there on, this
is a question solely for the access point vendor --

1. Does the configuration program allow scripted parameter values passed in
so your configuration program can run silently?

2. Does the configuration program basically deriving settings through
registry entries?

Without either capability, I don't really see how this can be done.

I intend to use the approach you recommended but thought of
putting this question here to see if Sybase can provide
additional information if this has been done before so that
I can have a head start. :)
