Hi -- sorry, I'm reposting this topic as I seem to have lost
the original.

I am getting this message for every varchar field generation
in EoModeler.

"Next exception:SQL Warning:010TP -- error code: 0 -- msg:
010TP: The connection's initial character set, null, could
not be converted by the server. The server's proposed
character set, 8859_1, will be used, with conversions
performed by jConnect."

Someone suggested I needed to change my character set, but I
neglected to ask where and how I change this setting. Anyone
able to help out?

Thanks,

James

Is this for ASA or for ASE?
Please run dbeng9.exe -v and include the output from this with each and
every post.

I'm not sure what ASA or ASE is, but I'm working in OSX so
what would the Mac version of dbeng9.exe be?
