We will be writing an applicaction for either Palm or PocketPC using
(hopefully) the Ultralite database and syncronizing the data with a back end
database. We also want to periodically roll out new versions of the
handheld app. Do we require both Mobilink and Manage Anywhere? Do these
two products work together? We don't want the handhelds to have to use the
Hotsync. We would rather have them just connect (RAS) to our internal
network (via a 56K modem), and then have these operations launch (data sync
and app verion upload). Do MobilLink and Manage Anywhere support this?

I'd appreciate it if anyone knows the answer to these questions.

You probably should post to
sybase.public.sqlanywhere.mobilink to get your questions
answered.

Manage Anywhere will allow you to push out new application updates and run
scripts remotely on the device. Mobilink allows you to synchronize data on
the device with a back-end DB server.
