We use a server with two Nics. In the first segment the Advantage Server
(V188.8.131.52) runs without any problems. In the second segment our main
application (Delphi) crashs from time to time. If you start the
application it shuts down with a "normal" Windows exception. No Error
Code is shown. I tried a lot of things to find the reason and I
discovered a mystery.
I made two very simple programs. The program just opens one table and
shows it in a grid. One program connects to the server using the ADS
Dictionary and the other program connects to the server using the
database path. The one using the dictionary produces this error and the
one using the path works without any problems.
Does anyone have a solution to this problem?
