Hallo. (Newbie question)

What do I have to do to get my Client computer connecting to my Win 2003
Server (ADS 7.0 running) via IP?

How should the ADS.ini file look like?

local IP Server: 192.168.0.11
local Port: 2000

Internet IP: XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX
Internet Port: 2001

Even I would like to connect to my Server via a dial up connection over the
internet! Possible?

Thanks a lot.

Kindest regards
Bj?rn

\\192.168.1.11:2000\ADS-DB\DMS.add

Die Alias Adresse f?r die Internetverbindung:
\\217.173.146.120:2001\ADS-DB\DMS.add
(IP ver?ndert!)

Hieran muss etwas falsch sein. DMS.add liegt unter c:\ads-db\

Mit der lokalen Alias Angabe funktioniert der Zugriff per Remote Connection.

Nun habe ich dies auch mit ?ber Internet probiert und bekomme die
Fehlermeldung.
