I've gotten two different answers from sales to the first
question, so I'd like to confim here:
1. Can your mobile products synchronize (copy) data files
as well as database entries?
2. Can you read/write files directly to the memory card
(MMC/SD Card) of a PDA?
3. Can you do a 'store and forward' type sync, that will
let me synchronize my PDA with a local server/workstation
should my internet connection be down?

Thanks!

Jim

The answer is yes to all of the questions. Which products where you
looking at since it takes at least 2 of them to be able to answer yes

Wow - really? You can do all three? What products do I need to accomplish
this?

Thanks!

SQL Anywhere Studio and either MobiLink or SQL Remote will move database
contents.

Afaria will move files to the laptop and to devices as well as do lots
of other cool management stuff

Pylon Anywhere will move your PIM data to both your laptop and your PDA

Pylon Desktop will move PIM data between your laptop and PDA

The real questions are what problem are you trying to solve. Chances
are we can solve it without introducing too much complexity.
