I'm using version 7 and i needed to know if there is a way
to do an automatically horizontal scroll in a datawindow.

If I have several fields that don't fit in the visible part
of Datawindow and to use SetColumn () for, for instance, the
last field, the scroll doesn't work.

How can i solve that????

Thank you

I searched the groups for "ScrollToColumn" and below is what
I found. If I understand what you're attempting to do, this
should do the trick. In the future, I'd recommend posting
questions about datawindows in
sybase.public.powerbuilder.database.

string ls_pos

// Make sure row/column gets focus.
SetRedraw(FALSE)
this.SetRow (al_row)
this.ScrollToRow (al_row)
this.SetColumn (as_columnname)
this.SetFocus ()
ls_pos = Describe(as_columnname + ".X")
Modify("DataWindow.HorizontalScrollPosition=" + ls_pos)
SetRedraw(TRUE)
