I browsed through the site and some manuals and can't seem
to find an answer to this one: On a PC, I can use a
command-line utility to run a SQL script (say in a .sql
file.) I was wondering if there's any similar functionality
for Windows CE? I've used some embedded SQL using VB.Net,
but I might have to handle whole scripts at some point down
the road.

Currently using ASA 8.02, will most likely upgrade to 9.x
"soon"...

thanks,
Michel

We do not build a CE version of DBISQL.

You have two options using the ASA tools.

1 - Start your CE server with -x tcpip and connect to it
from DBISQL running on your desktop.
or
2 - Move the database to the desktop and do it directly.

Of course your application could just read the SQL
one line/statement at a time and execute that inside
a loop. While a simplification, that is basically just what
DBISQL does {syntax parsing and DBISQL features
aside}.
