Hi Guys,

We are having a requirement to convert an Entire PB appl.n
to Java. Plz note that XML Layer may not be useful as the
requirement is not just to pass data accross a few screens
but to have a component by component conversion.

Alternatively, can we place our components in EAServer so
that these can be used / act like Java components? If yes
how?

Also, Pl let's know whether thro' an HTML browser, these
components can be loaded / accessed.

Would appreciate your Quick Resp. Thanks in Adv.

Regards,
Amol.

Hi Amol,

Appeon converts the entire application to web browser standards that include
HTML, XML, and JavaScript using the Appeon Server. The Appeon Server (built
on EAServer technology) was J2EE Compliant before BEA and IBM and supports
PowerBuilder Components, C/C++ Components, ActiveX Components, and Web
Services so you can extend your Appeon Web Application in any direction you
desire. The Java, PowerBuilder, C/C++, and ActiveX Components can easily
call one another as well as to Web Services so you can utilize the
experience and knowledge of all your developers. Please find more
information and documentation at the following websites:
