(1) I don't believe there was ever an ASE 11.5.2, and (2) some of the
features that you list are in versions earlier than 12.5.2. New features in
12.5.2 that are not in 12.5.1 (or earlier) are listed at

http://sybooks.sybase.com/onlinebooks/group-as/asg1252e/1252newfeatures/@Generic__BookView

There are similar documents at that Sybase site for previous releases.

Actually there was a 11.5.2 if I remember correctly.

No, the 11.5.x version family stopped with 11.5.1.2 ESD #3

Hi Bret,

thanks! I remember that 11.5.2 was built... maybe it just wasn't
released outside of Sybase.

Not sure what enhancements you were looking for.

As Carl mentioned that url will give you the details of
the new functionality in ASE 12.5.2 IR.

Ummm. Unfortunately, I do see a documentation conflict. Per Bhatt's
presentation at TechWave, ASE 12.5.2 includes "grant/revoke truncate" and
"grant/revoke update statistics" which I do not see at the referenced URL.
Are these grant/revokes in 12.5.2? The same for "kill <spid> with
statusonly".

Hi Carl,

Yes, these are all in 12.5.2...and the doc.
"grant/revoke and truncate" is listed in Chapter 7, with further reference
to Chapter 12.
"kill <spid> with statusonly" is also documented in Chapter 12

Ahhh, now I see the "grant ..." at the end of chapter 7 as you indicate. I
don't see any of this stuff in Chapter 12 - but if you say it is there then
I believe it.
