We have developed an application that uses ALS to access database created by
a user on his computer. (A network version is under development for clients
who want to run the software on a c/s database).

We recently sold 3 copies to a university and they wanted to make the
program available to individual users through Citrix mainly to control the
number of users who were accessing the program. Unfortunately, they cannot
run my application because they always get the following error message:

"Error 5185: Local server connections are restricted in this
environment"

The network manager told me:

"A major goal of this server was to offer an objective path from low-usage
to a site license. Rather than have to endlessly argue with committees, we
could offer objective evidence of what people are using on Citrix."

Is there a way to make my application run on their Citrix terminal server
and respect the EULA?
